Sheila Brookes

With a tenure of 3 years, the first President will be Mrs. Sheila Brookes, who was chosen for her long standing commitment and service to the club and carriage driving in general. Sheila is also part of the Local Access Forum who are working tirelessly to secure safe off road routes for riders and drivers across Lincolnshire by resurrecting old and often disused bye–ways and tracks. They have already secured 50 miles and hoping to attain 150 miles route in the near future.

Chairman – Clive Borman

Promoting PHC activities within the membership and also a wider audience. Clive is the first port of call for raising matters of procedure or in the rare event of complaint. Clive is also your point of contact for any Poacherwear clothing orders. Details of items available are on the website. Suggestions for improvement, innovation and inclusion are always welcomed by a friendly response

Secretary – Belinda Rees-Evans

Maintains membership list. Depository for official papers. Handles all correspondence on behalf of the club. Produces annual yearbooks; handbooks, newsletters, articles . Generally first port of call for all matters of club administration.

Treasurer & Event Secretary – John Cooke

Responsibility for all matters financial, handles club insurances. Produces, distributes & receives all applications for forms such as membership and monies. Receives entries for events. Prepares schedule of times & running order for event days. Will not accept entries for which valid insurance and flu vac certs have not been submitted. All entry forms contain details of how to send your entries to John.

 

Course Builder and H&S officer –

Greg Farrow-Lawton

They jointly provide risk assessments for all events & oversee safety matters at each event. They are responsible for upholding Poacher Safety rules and regulations. Maintain accident book and produce accident reports if necessary.
 

Course Builder and H&S officer – Nigel Patrick

They jointly design & construct courses for events bearing in mind the venue terrain and suitability. Anything to do with the event layout on the day. Responsible for maintenance of course materials and equipment and running our annual Make Do & Mend Days.

 

Steward Secretary – Sarah Braybrook

Organises & assigns stewards for events, contacting and advising what is required. Distributes stewards paperwork and equipment on the event day. Main contact for steward training days.

 

Publicity Officer – Duncan Seth-Smith
Providing articles for suitable publications and also local linked websites. In 2008 we had 24 articles published across 3 national magazines as well as event dates on 3 websites. In 2009 I hope we will have some more reports from club members. I am happy to edit your articles for the magazines if you prefer.
